Help Keep WHITE WAVE Cresting in 2022!

WHITE WAVE Dance thanks our many Friends and Supporters who have contributed to three decades of success. Your continuing Support will ensure our dedication to the future of Dance through the many challenges of 2020 and beyond.

WHITE WAVE has been able to continually grow and develop as a performing arts company and presenter, thanks to supporters like you! WHITE WAVE's programs cannot take place without the generous support of our Friends, Patrons, and Funders.

WHITE WAVE presented our 6th Annual 2022 SoloDuo Virtual Dance Festival, featuring 30 dancemakers from New York Metropolitan area, across the U.S. at Dixon Place!

Thanks to all our WHITE WAVE Dancers, participating choreographers & dancers, audiences, supporters, and the Dixon Place crew for making our 6th annual SoloDuo Dance Festival the safest and the bestest ever!

Just beginning to emerge from Covid-19, we were amazed to find Dixon Place's 110 seats filled at each of the 3 shows, with thunderous applause erupting after each piece. Most of all, we loved watching each dancer‘s face light up with so much joy, finally dancing for a live (and LIVELY) audience!

“iyouuswe II, A Dance Film” is selected to Finalist at 2022 Cannes International Film Festival, Paris International Short Festival, Vancouver Independent Film Festival and an OFFICIAL SELECTION at the 2021 London International Short Film Festival, Espoo Digi-Dance International Film Festival (Finland) and Experimental, Dance, Music Film Festival (Canada).

"iyouuswe II" (read I-You-Us-We-Two), a Dance Film, probes the weight of human emotions.“iyouuswe II” presents a vividly-colored vision where movement and mise-en-scène seamlessly meld.

Especially during this critical time of the covid Pandemic, this piece challenges us to examine who we are, and how we relate to ourselves and to each other. It is a story of developing relationships by which we struggle to find a sense of ‘i’ as part of a ‘we.’
