This exciting festival will feature Live Performances over four days, showcasing innovative contemporary dance from around the world. On Thursday, June 26th, WHITE WAVE Dance proudly celebrates the 24th Anniversary season of the DUMBO Dance Festival (DDF) with a Gala Opening that kicks off the most anticipated four-day festival of contemporary dance in the greater NYC area! Committed to championing dance as a vital art form, WHITE WAVE scours the globe for today’s most groundbreaking emerging and established dance makers, bringing them together in Brooklyn for one exhilarating weekend. For four days, dance enthusiasts will revel in a showcase of innovative contemporary dance, with DDF offering on-stage and behind-the-scenes opportunities for 60 dance companies from across the U.S. and around the world. Join us for an immersive experience that captures the unparalleled energy and creativity of the New York dance scene.
