Free Performance by WHITE WAVE Dance at DUMBO Archway

During the Summer/Fall 2021, Young Soon Kim, Artistic Director and choreographer of WHITE WAVE Young Soon Kim Dance Company, will continue creating “iyouuswe II, A Dance Film” & stage version of the production.
Kim’s newest production is "iyouuswe II" ( I-You-Us-We-Two), a multi-year collaboration with pioneering composer Marco Cappelli, a continuing exploration of the body's 3 dimensions in space. Probing the weight of human emotions, “iyouuswe II” presents a vividly-colored vision where movement and mise-en-scène meld seamlessly.
During this critical time of the Covid Pandemic, this piece challenges us to examine who we are and how we relate to ourselves and to each other. It is a story of developing relationships by which we struggle to find a sense of ‘i’ as part of a ‘we.’
